Localization testing

Make every welcome
feel local.

You built a regional experience. Now check it from a regional connection. Test your own website’s language, currency, redirects, and content from available residential and mobile exits.

Localization testing

A real connection is the starting point.

The question behind the work

A location setting is only part of the test.

Changing a browser’s language does not change the network address your server sees. A proxy lets you test the network side of localization alongside your usual browser and application settings. Check those inputs independently so you can tell whether a problem comes from IP location, a saved preference, or the page itself.

What you can check

Turn a connection into context.

01

Regional landing pages

Open your own campaigns and entry pages from available countries. Verify the intended route, local content, and links into the rest of your website.

02

Currency and language

Check that prices and copy follow your application’s intended rules. Include the experience for visitors who explicitly change their preferences.

03

Redirect and fallback QA

Test how your website behaves when the visitor’s network and browser language disagree. Verify that the fallback remains usable.

A practical workflow

Start small.
Make the result useful.

Connection quickstart
  1. 01

    Build a test matrix

List country, network type, browser language, and signed-in state as separate inputs. Choose a manageable set of combinations.

  2. 02

    Start with a clean context

Use a fresh browser profile or intentionally reset the settings relevant to the test. Record any cookies or preferences you preserve.

  3. 03

    Connect and verify

Select your country and network type, then confirm the exit address before navigating to your own website.

  4. 04

    Capture reproducible evidence

Save the URL, timestamp, exit information, and observed behavior. Include enough context for a developer to repeat the check.

Evaluate the fit

Measure what
actually matters.

Use the trial to learn whether the available coverage, client behavior, and traffic costs fit your work. Keep the test representative of what you plan to run.

What the trial includes
Choose your connection

Same tools.
A different point of view.

Country and network targeting live in your username. Use the same account and prepaid balance for both residential and mobile traffic.

Before the first run

A few details
worth knowing.

Will the proxy change my browser’s GPS location?

No. Browser geolocation is separate from the proxy connection. Configure it separately in your own testing environment if your application needs it.

Should I test mobile and residential?

If both audiences matter to your product, compare both types when available. Keep your other test inputs the same to make the results useful.

Can I keep the route for a multi-page journey?

Use a sticky session for related requests. It pins an exit device while available; it does not guarantee the device’s address will never change.
