The people behind the IPs

A better connection
starts with consent.

An IP address is only part of the story. Behind every BusyIP exit is a person who installed our app, agreed to share their connection, and is paid for every gigabyte they carry.

The connection behind the address
People-powered connections

Shared by real people.
Paid per gigabyte.

They choose to participate

Our network is made up of people running our app. Participation starts with installing the app and agreeing to share a connection.

They are paid for traffic

The person providing the connection earns per gigabyte. Your traffic is carried by someone who benefits from sharing it.

They stay in control

A participant can disconnect. We build around that reality with prepaid traffic and clear availability limits.

An honest view of the network

Real people mean real-world availability.

Our network is growing, and coverage varies as participants come online and go offline. We do not promise a fixed pool size, every country, or an uptime SLA. If your filters have no matching exit, the gateway returns no_capacity instead of silently changing your location. Try your actual workload before buying.

Follow a request

From your work to someone’s connection.

The source of the connection is part of the product. Here is the path your traffic takes.

  1. 01

    Your client makes a request

Use your account credential in an HTTP CONNECT or SOCKS5 client. Add only the country, type, and session markers your workflow needs.

  2. 02

The gateway selects a matching exit

We authenticate your credential and look for an available participant that matches your targeting. Unavailable filters produce a clear capacity error.

  3. 03

A real connection carries the traffic

The exit uses the participant’s home Wi-Fi or cellular connection, according to the selected type. The destination sees that network address.

  4. 04

Usage connects value to both sides

Your balance reflects the metered traffic. The person providing the connection is paid per gigabyte for the bandwidth they share.

The principles behind the product

Clear choices.
On both sides.

We want customers to understand what they are buying and participants to remain in control of their connection. Those choices shape the way BusyIP works.

Participation is a choice

The network consists of people who install our app and agree to share. They can disconnect rather than being committed to an always-on device.

Compensation follows usage

Participants are paid per gigabyte. Our prepaid customer model is built around real traffic carried by real connections.

Capacity is stated honestly

We do not publish invented fleet counts, guarantee every country, or promise a fixed IP address. We give you a trial to evaluate the actual fit.

Built around real availability

A balance that waits.
A person who chooses.

People can go offline, so unused traffic stays in your balance. You decide when to run your next job and whether to buy more.

There is no subscription, automatic recharge, or expiry date on the traffic you buy. If no exit matches your filters, the request is declined before traffic is relayed.

A few more details

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Read the documentation
How do you source your IPs?

Every exit is a participant running our app who has agreed to share their connection and is paid per gigabyte. Mobile and residential describe the network that person is using.

What happens when no exit is available?

The gateway declines the request before relaying traffic. There is no proxy traffic to meter, and your remaining balance stays available for later.

What uses are allowed?

BusyIP is for business and professional use, including permitted public-data research and testing. Read our acceptable use policy before starting.

Why do you sell prepaid traffic?

Participants can come online and disconnect. Prepaid traffic lets you use the balance when the matching connections are available, without a recurring charge for a monthly plan.

Can I check the network before buying?

Start with the free allowance and your actual permitted workflow. Use the public MCP capacity tools or the documentation to understand the current options.

Who operates BusyIP?

BusyIP is a service of Effirity SRL. Our terms, privacy policy, and acceptable use policy explain the service and how to contact us.
